Complex topographies, climates and political landscapes challenge the production, curation and sharing of risk data in mountain environments. HiRISK brings together experts from the region to inform on these challenges from the bottom-up, advise on the varied landscapes of risk data and produce fully open datasets and guidelines for practicioners, policy makers, scientists and journalists.
HiRISK aims to provide an interface that critically reflects on our ability to integrate different types of data, inform the discourse by experts well versed with the region’s specific challenges and provide a platform for early career scientists to contribute to future data production and evaluation.
